The ownership crisis between osun and Oyo states over
the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH, which started during the last
administration, hope to settle now that the national leader of the All
progressive congress Bola Hammed Tinubu become the chancellor of the
institute.Presently the resident doctors and other workers at osogbo
campus of LAUTECH were on indefinite strike due to non-payment of their salaries.
Speaking on the state of the nation, he bemoaned the terror
unleashed on the country by Boko Haram insurgences, saying they are wearying
war not only on the federal Government, but on entire people in Nigeria.
The event was coincides with 11th special convocation of LAUTECH was preceded
by a lecture titled Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Education
and Economic development in Nigeria Africa and Diaspora delivered by Dr. Robert
M. Franklin of United States American.
