Edo State Police Parade 46 Crime Suspects For [Rape, Robbery, Cultism and Kidnapping etc]


Fourty-Six Suspected crime offenders have being paraded by Edo state Police Command for various offences ranging from armed robbery, defilement, rape, land grabbers, kidnapping and cultism.

The state commissioner of police, Adebanjo folusho, while parading the 46 crime suspects said the police would spare no effort in ensuring those found culpable after investigation are brought before the law.

It would be recalled that the police had three weeks ago paraded about 60suspects before newsmen at the command headquarters in Benin as part of its effort to rid the state of crime and ensure that the citizens enjoy relative peace.

Some of the suspects arrested for inflicting severe injury on another during land dispute in which some persons were said to have died, the police according to the commissioner frowns at this ugly trend which is becoming unprecedented and warn that anyone caught will be dealt with.

Mr Folusho, inspecting some of the dangerous item recovered from the hoodlums before the media, imagined what might be the outcome if these weapons are used on innocent citizens.

Exhibits paraded  and recovered from the hoodlums ranges from ammunition, guns, knife, cutlasses etc.

The police boss however thank the public for their useful information in unmasking crime in the state.
