2015 Election: Oba Of Benin Endorses Jonathan

The Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa I, has endorsed president Goodluck Jonathan for a second term in office as President of Nigeria from 2015.The Oba’s special mission to the President and the Crowned prince of Benin , Ambassador Eheneden Erediauwa who arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja with few chiefs from the kingdom told newsmen shortly after conferring with the President that Oba Erediauwa, his father had been praying the President in the Benin Kingdom.


The prince further stated that the oba was concerned with the spate of insecurity and other challenges facing the president calling on the president not to be distracted but remain focused on the good work he is doing.
The monarch however invited the president to visit his kingdom for more fatherly advice.
