Assasination: AIG task ogun CP on the arrest of the suspects

The Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Mamman Tsafe has charged the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Ikemefuna Okoye to intensify efforts at unmasking the Killer of a Community Leader in Ijebu-Igbo, Late Okuneye. The Community leader, who was a strong member of the Police Community Relations Committee in the area, was assassinated two weeks ago inside the St. Peter's Church, Oke Sopin, in Ijebu-Igbo by a 10 gang suspected to be hired assassin.



He charged the commissioner of Police in the state to extend it tentacles to all the nooks and crannies of the state at unmasking the killers of the community leaders stressing that, other commissioners of police in the adjourning state would equally assist in the search for Okuneye killers.
On the increasing case of baby factory homes, Tsafe commended the police authorities in Ogun state for their efforts in this direction noting that, some suspects have been arrested on the matter and that police would not relent in its efforts at ‎reducing the trend.
